The 21st Annual Raft Race will be held in 2009. In the event of bad weather conditions, another date will be fixed. The Race Committee decision will be final. 

Captains meetings will be held at 

Aqua Park

• First Meeting 
   9 Days prior to the race at 19:00 hours 

• Second Meeting 
  2 Days prior to the race at 19:00 hours  

Captains will be required to attend both the meetings. Team numbers will be handed out during the second meeting. All rafts to be brought into Aqua Park by 16:00 hours on Thursday (a day prior to the Raft Race Day). 

The Captains are obliged to attend the first.  Scrutineers inspection of their rafts on Thursday evening.  Rafts to be removed within 7 days - Failure to do so forfeits deposit and Raft. It is a condition of entry that the Captains meet with the Scrutineers at 08:00 hours on Raft Race Day, for the final inspection of their rafts.

Training Sessions - Training Starts from a month prior to the race, at the Aqua Park.  Your team will be issued with a Training Entry Card (Team Members plus three reserves). All and any other people wishing to attend your training session will be required to pay the normal daily entry rate to the Aqua Park.
